welcome to a brand new day it's friday, november 30th i'm dave clark. >> good morning, i'm pam cook. thank you for waking up with us. traffic and weather certainly topping our news this morning. let's go to steve for the very latest. how does it look? >> there are some areas that looks okay. there are other areas where it's coming down like crazy. give yourself extra time. on the backside of this. it looks like there is a little bit of a break. we've had reports of decreasing rain to the north the cloud cover is not moving through. there could still be a big-time enhancement. there is really big-time rain especially vacaville to fairfield, antioch, brentwood, oakley. we'll take a closer look coming up. here is tara. >>> yes, we have a lot of spinouts, some mud slides to report up in the sonoma county area. flash flood warning in effect up there until 5:-- 5:22. there are so many parts of the roadway flooded out. too many to mention here. right now this is a live look outside. you can see that it is wet out there. it is extremely dark too. so definitely go below this speed limit. 680

i'm tori campbell. >> i'm dave clark. it's tuesday, november 13th. >>> we're tracking developing news out of a daly city neighborhood where lozan avenue is waking up to flooded streets and cars stuck in mud. tara moriarty was the first reporter on the scene and she's live with what we're learning about the flooding that's forced evacuations. tara? >> reporter: yeah, it's really loud out here, tori, and that's because the public works have arrived. the bulldozers and water tank trucks are just swarming this area. if you look at the hillside a huge chunk of it is missing and basically all of that mud is spread out all over the neighborhood. ktvu was the first news crew to arrive on scene. a dozen people had to be evacuated. fire crews say that a water main sprung a leak near the water tank. we saw the water mixed with mud just gushing down the hillside off luzane and bonnie at 4:30 this morning. crews have it under control. the water has stopped but the cleanup will be intense. >> it was a native cast iron pipe that failed.
